The Union of Rural Education and Culture, grounded in 1952, is a Finnish adult education and culture organization producing educational and cultural services for its members and cooperation partners.

The study center of the Union of Rural Education and Culture is responsible for the development of the countryside, villages and societal and communal activities.

Cultural services of the Union of Rural Education and Culture produce exhibitions, multiartistic cultural events, seminars and writing competitions.

Hourly support for voluntary learning

The Union of Rural Education and Culture supports financially voluntary educational activities with hourly support from the Ministry of Education. Hourly support is available for study circles, courses and lectures.

Publishing company Maahenki

Maahenki publishing company is focused on books about everyday life, nature and arts. Maahenki publishes book that touch the reader by their beauty.
